Spiraling Up

While reflecting on 2022, it is clear that the most impactful gifts I have received have been from you - your attention and support during the publishing process of my new book - from opening these newsletters, to purchasing the book, to writing reviews on Amazon, to your words of encouragement and feedback along the way. It is beyond my linguistic capabilities to express how much your support has meant to me. Without a doubt, this whole process has facilitated a significant evolution for me - a gift that keeps on giving. Thank you 🙏

In 2022, between the many to-dos of the publishing process and serving clients, I invested significant time and energy into deepening the practices that keep me centered, focused and healthy; becoming a certified transformational & functional breathwork, and a yoga teacher.

Don't worry, I have no ambitions of pivoting my career and become a yoga teacher or a breath coach. That said, I do have plans to fold these practices into my work with more intention and impact for my clients. Over the last decade of my Leadership and Team Development consulting work, I have weaved breath and movement into the retreats, workshops and trainings I’ve designed and delivered. In the years to come, I will be leveraging these powerful tools to unlock mental blocks, invite deeper connection (to self and others), and ignite energy in subtle and overt ways.

These two practices have not just generated alignment and energy in my life and my client's organizations, they have helped regenerate us; churning the compost of what was into the rich soil that nourishes the future harvests.

Recently, in one of those elusive ah-ha moments, it hit me: Be it regenerative economic models (blockchain), relational patterns (team/organizational development), educational experiences, or physical/spiritual practices, these different manifestations of regenerative ethos are the wells I go to fill my cup and dedicate my time towards.

The future is unclear. The present is challenging. To build whatever comes next after the chaos we’ve endured, we need to not only pursue generative practices, we must engage in regenerative practices.  In the year ahead, I will be sharing more on the micro and macro practices that regenerate energy and efforts. I am excited to bring some of these powerful practices into my work, leading and sharing these techniques with my clients.

Thank you for witnessing and supporting my process of renewal. May the transition to 2023 bring you clarity, hope and health. May all that you learned or lost in 2022 support you in making more magic and impact in the year to come.
